3D Printing Combinations of Solids and Liquids for Sock Absorption

MSc student Vincente Quintana Arntz leveraged voxel techniques to blend solids and liquids in 3D printing. He assessed how new material structures, where deposition of solids and liquids are controlled at a sub-mm level can obtain superior shock-absorbing properties. Such materials can have applications in future protective equipment products.
