Try to remember the last time you went to a restaurant. You probably wanted that evening to be a delightful experience, but then the waiter handed you the menu. Suddenly you had to make a choice what you wanted to eat, and making the wrong choice might ruin your night.

Traditional paper menu’s only show limited amount of information about the meals, and often don’t show you what the food actually looks like.

Luckily, I have the solution for these problems, let me tell you about augmented reality menus for restaurants.

The switch to a digital menu frees restaurants of the limited space on a paper menu. Giving you the opportunity to see background stories about the meal, filter for a certain diet or view the nutritional info.

With augmented reality you can see a 3D model of each meal on the table in its actual size, providing the most realistic representation of the food. Next to that, it will also give you that ‘wow’ effect, turning the evening into that memorable experience you wanted it to be.
