e-bike Data Collection Toolkit for Design

An advanced understanding of naturalistic e-cycling is crucial to design better products and systems for e-bike riders. To achieve this goal, the connected e-bike can serve as a valuable tool. This project aimed to identify significant parameters of naturalistic e-biking and implement them using the cobi module. By linking external stimuli, such as location, ambiance, effort, speed, and 360 videos, with user states, such as emotion and energy, the cobi module can help provide insights into the overall riding experience. The data collecting system, including the Cobi module and the backend, can be easily implemented with the proper hardware. Check out the cobi-app and Bucket repositories on GitHub.
