Presentation at the Rotterdam Law & Tech Community of Practice

Fernando Secomandi delivered a presentation titled “Slavery by Design? GenAI, Data Work, and the Paradox of Liberation” at the Rotterdam Law & Tech Community of Practice event hosted by the Erasmus School of Law, at Hotel New York in Rotterdam. Professionals from the judiciary, legal practice, and academia gathered for an engaging discussion on the evolving relationship between law, digitalization, and artificial intelligence.

The program, moderated by Prof. Evert Stamhuis and Dr. Cees Zweistra. also included presentations by Dr. Manuella van der Put (Court of Appeal ’s-Hertogenbosch) – AI in judicial decision-making, Maaike Bomers (Dutch Bar Association) – Digitalization & AI in legal practice.
