Interactive Robots for the Highlight Delft Art & Technology Festival
Are you interested in Robots, Interaction Design and Public Engagement? Do you want to do a Graduation Project that combines engineering, human factors, creativity and art? Then get in touch because I’ve got the project for you!
Suitable for IPD or DfI; Space for up to three students; Starting in September or October 2025; Several robot concepts to choose from, some of which already have prototypes (so technical development can play a bigger or smaller role in your project).
Highlight Delft will return in February 2026 with a cutting-edge edition themed ‘The Year of the Robot’! Expect groundbreaking installations, inspiring artists, and a programme that uniquely merges art and technology. As an IDE contribution to the festival (with support from the Science Centre and TU Delft Robotics Institute, and in collaboration with Croatian artist Hrvoje Hiršl) I’m working to develop a ‘Robot Petting Zoo’, where visitors can interact with a variety of weird and quirky unconventional robots with their own unique personalities.
